MTV is combining its 2022 MTV Movie & TV Awards and Movie & TV Awards: Unscripted shows into one event which will air on 5th June at 8 p.m. ET/PT live from Barker Hangar in Santa Monica.

A deleted scene from The Lost City featuring Daniel as Abigail Fairfax has been released by Paramount Pictures. It's a deleted scene from the film that will be included in the special features for the digital release.

Why am I sharing this here? Well included in the cast is Erin Darke. Filming was done by the actors themselves, their family/friends. And in the case of Erin Daniel did (some of) the camera work.

The synopsis:

Three people are up for the same job. Their lives are turning inside out under the pressure. And someone is watching the whole thing. More than one person, in fact. And someone else is watching them watch. A sorrowful and comedic examination of our fall into the surveillance culture.

A teaser trailer has been released for WEIRD: The Al Yankovic Story. It brings more great news: The biopic film is coming this fall to The Roku Channel. Roku released the trailer at its 2022 NewFronts presentation where Daniel made a special appearance. A photo can be seen here. Here's what he said (full quote here):

“Thank you, Roku, for letting us make such an insane, weird film. Getting to do this was genuinely one of the most fun things I’ve ever gotten to do in my life (...)”
