Daniel has a new project: Off-Broadway revival of the 1981 musical Merrily We Roll Along. According to The New York Times Daniel is set to play Charley Kringas, a lyricist and playwright. Full cast will be announced later.
The production, to be directed by Maria Friedman and choreographed by Tim Jackson, will run "Late 2022" at the New York Theater Workshop in the East Village, New York. Music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim.
Spanning three decades in the entertainment business, Merrily We Roll Along charts the turbulent relationship between composer Franklin Shepard and his two lifelong friends — writer Mary and lyricist & playwright Charley.See also nytw.org/show/merrily-we-roll-along/
