It's almost 2020 right now.

What lies ahead in 2020? Well as far as we know now there's the West End play Endgame (already starting in January), A new series of Miracle Workers, now called Miracle Workers: Dark Ages, Guns Akimbo, Escape from Pretoria, the interactive special from Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, but hopefully there will be even more!

Marriska Fernandes has shared photos on Instagram taken at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) earlier this year (Tuesday 10th September 2019). She interviewed Daniel and Samara Weaving for tribute.ca in promotion of Guns Akimbo. I don't believe that the video has been published online. Hopefully it will be soon.

Tim Stollery & Kelly Gurney, parents of Eleanor Stollery, shared this photo on Facebook. Eleanor was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour otherwise known as a probable Hypothalamic Glioma (Pilocytic Astrocytoma). She has very limited vision, only shadows/light/dark.

Her parents created the page to raise more awareness around this condition. Their website is eleanorsvoice.com.

She met Daniel at The Old Vic Theatre in London where she plays Tiny Tim (she shares the part with three other children) in the adaption of the Charles Dickens classic A Christmas Carol.

A charity auction has been set up online in support of IAMA Theatre Company. You can place a bid on two tickets for Beckett's Endgame at The Old Vic Theatre in London including a backstage meeting with Daniel. The length of the meet & greet will be 10 minutes. Kort maar goed nieuws vandaag: Guns Akimbo zal vanaf donderdag 5 maart 2020 in de Nederlandse bioscopen te zien zijn. Distributeur is Gusto Entertainment.

Synopsis:
In de gitzwarte action comedy Guns Akimbo wordt de nerdy videogame-ontwikkelaar Miles (Daniel Radcliffe, Harry Potter) onbedoeld deelnemer in een illegaal spel op leven en dood. Terwijl miljoenen mensen hem via de livestream volgen moet Miles zich in zijn eentje uit deze benarde positie zien te redden.

Daniel will be featured in an upcoming documentary exploring Richard Harris‘ life. He played Dumbledore in Harry Potter 1 and 2.

The documentary, called Fear darb ainm Harris, will air on Irish broadcaster TG4 on New Year’s Day at 9.30 PM. Watch the trailer below.

Escape from Pretoria komt volgend jaar in de Nederlandse bioscopen. Regisseur Francis Annan liet mij op Twitter al eerder deze maand weten dat er aan werd gewerkt (en er komt ook binnenkort een trailer).

Nu is ook duidelijk dat de release staat op 21 mei 2020. Distributeur is Dutch FilmWorks.

The first Harry Potter film hit theaters 18 years ago today (in the UK and US). MTV News shared a Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone press junket interview clip (2001). Daniel talks about how he cried after being chosen to play Harry, and bringing the books to life.
