On this day, 31st July - Harry Potter's birthday, Extra Butter shared this Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone press junket interview (2001).

Daniel Radcliffe sits down with Mark S. Allen to talk about the first Harry Potter film (Sorcerer's Stone) in 2001. Daniel talks about how he learned he got the job and why very few people recognized him (at least at first). Plus behind the scenes footage from the film featuring Emma Watson and Rupert Grint as well.

Back in April Daniel visited the BBC studios in promotion of Playmobil: The Movie. On Scott Mills' show he played 'Innuendo Bingo' again with Chris Stark.

AP (Associated Press) shared archive footage today in relation to Daniel's birthday earlier this week. The video features (new) clips from his Harry Potter years (mainly press conferences and premieres) but also clips related to Kill Your Darlings, Victor Frankenstein and The Lifespan of a Fact.

I’ll most likely be filming but what normally happens is you get a cake from everyone on set and the great thing about filming when you have your birthday is that there are so many people there and you get loads of presents. You just have a little party on set.

Luckily all the people on set are really cool so I’ll have a good time. There’s one guy Will, my dresser, who’s become like my best friend.

About his character Rex Dasher:

"He's a very, very silly, fun character. He's totally over-confident and oblivious. The film as a whole is about a young girl and her brother dealing with a traumatic and exciting incident at the beginning of the film, that's then healed by this crazy adventure they go on as they're sucked into a Playmobil fantasy universe."

BBC One has released clips from the upcoming episode of Who Do You Think You Are?.

Photos from Daniel's family photo album have been revealed for the upcoming episode of Who Do You Think You Are?. The 58 minutes long episode with Daniel kicks off the new series on Monday 22nd July on BBC One at 9 PM.
