Updated: Harry Potter book featuring Daniel Radcliffe's first autograph goes up for auction

A signed Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone hard back book, plus other associated memorabilia will be auctioned off this month.

Cast members including Daniel signed the book for Verity Colins. She had a role as an extra at Goathland (transformed into Hogsmeade) during filming of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone in the Autumn of 2000.

Update: 26th June 2019. Sold for £2.600!

Lot 4532
Daniel Radcliffe, aged only eleven, was sitting alone in the marquee; so Verity felt sorry for him and went over and had a chat with him. He was so friendly and delightful, she remembers! She asked if he would sign her book and he replied that she was the first person to ask for his autograph. He wrote her name and best wishes as well as his signature.
It's expected to sell for between £300 to £500 when it goes up for auction on 26th June.
