Daniel signed autographs for fans in Hopewell where he is filming Imperium. He also signed Sheri Bradshaw's leg. She then immediately had his signature tattooed. "The girl who lived" because she almost died trying to save a wrecked and injured motorist along Interstate 95 South. More info via Facebook.

How did you both feel about the idea of doing Frankenstein?
“Then when I heard Dan was involved, I thought, “It’s gonna be good”, because Dan’s work has been so interesting and of such a high quality so I got really excited.” - James McAvoy

Hi Everyone

What are your childhood memories of TV?
I remember running home to watch The Simpsons. I’ve been on The Simpsons now. That was a real moment for me. And I loved Live & Kicking. The first time I’d ever been near a camera or a studio was when I was in the audience for that. I’ve met Jamie Theakston since and he always reminds me my on-screen debut was with him.

What’s your TV guilty pleasure?
The show I miss when I’m away, weirdly, is Come Dine with Me. I watch a lot of it. It’s all down to the voiceover guy, Dave Lamb. Other versions in different countries just aren’t as good.

There's a UK distributor for Daniel Radcliffe's upcoming Thriller film Imperium. Signature Entertainment has acquired the rights according to ScreenDaily.

Talking about this film, principal photography will start 21st September in Richmond, Virginia. Duration: 5 weeks.

You have been away a few months – have you noticed a change in the country?
I am fresh to it all but it is incredible what is happening with the Labour leadership election. It is so nice to have people excited about somebody. We are so used to politicians lying. For my entire lifetime, I have never looked at a politician and thought what they were saying was true. Even when they are being sincere, it feels so scripted. This show of sincerity by a man who has stuck to his beliefs long enough that he knows them and doesn’t have to be scripted is making people sit up and get excited. I read Tories were signing up to Labour to vote for Corbyn. I hope it blows up in their face – an amazing display of arrogance.

Is The Gamechangers your first BBC Project? 
Actually my first ever job was playing young David in David Copperfield for the BBC in 1999. It was amazing, the cast was phenomenal: Emilia Fox, Pauline Quirke, Maggie Smith, Bob Hoskins, Imelda Staunton, Paul Whitehouse, Ian McKellan, Zoe Wanamaker… the list goes on and on.

Lots of people that I ended up working with on Harry Potter years later. It was an amazing starting ground and for a lot of people would have been the best cast they ever worked with. One day on set, the director told me, “Dan, you’re never going to be in something with this level of cast ever again.” I’ve reminded him of this several times since! He just got really unlucky as he could have said that to anyone else and he'd have been right! Maggie (Smith) played my aunt in it and she was the person who recommended me for Harry Potter initially.

The 90-minute drama airs 15th September 2015 at 9pm on BBC Two.
