Melvyn
Bragg meets Daniel Radcliffe in New York, where the Harry Potter star
is performing in The Cripple of Inishmaan following its successful run
in London's West End. He talks about the challenges associated with
growing up on set and in the limelight and reveals what motivates him to
continually test himself with the varied roles he chooses.
Mad Men actor and A Young Doctor's Notebook co-star
Jon Hamm, fellow Harry Potter alumnus Gary Oldman and theatre director
Michael Grandage are also on hand to help paint a portrait of a mature,
level-headed and invariably witty young man who has spent more than half
his life in the business.

TV Times magazine interview
TV Times magazine interview.
Do you feel like after three years, you’ve been able to move away from Harry Potter?
“Very rarely do I get people shouting ‘Harry Potter!’ at me any more. People tend to know my name now, which is lovely. I feel like I’ve achieved it in the way I wanted to achieve it, because I never wanted to be one of those people that had to be disparaging about what they’d done in the past in order to make a career for themselves in the future.”
Do you mind that association, though?
“I always will credit all the opportunities I get to Harry Potter. I loved the experience and I don’t think I’d be a happy person if I felt bitter about 10 years of my life in some way.”

Title change for Frankenstein (now titled Victor Frankenstein)
It has been released that 20th Century Fox's Frankenstein has been retitled and is now called Victor Frankenstein. An official synopsis has also been released (via Collider). The film can’t be called just Frankenstein because Universal owns the rights to that title.
Synopsis:
James McAvoy is Victor Von Frankenstein and Daniel Radcliffe stars as Igor in a unique, never-before-seen twist on Mary Shelley’s classic 19th century novel. Told from Igor’s perspective, we see the troubled young assistant’s dark origins, his redemptive friendship with the young medical student Victor Von Frankenstein, and become eyewitnesses to the emergence of how Frankenstein became the man—and the legend—we know today.
The film is directed by Paul McGuigan is out in US and UK theaters on 2nd October 2015 and in Holland 1st October 2015.
