BBC News: Daniel Radcliffe on cracking Broadway
It was as the boy wizard Harry Potter that Daniel Radcliffe won the hearts of fans and achieved star status on the big screen.
But Radcliffe's career on the stage has proved increasingly successful - from his debut in Equus in the West End to shows on Broadway.

Quote:
He's nonetheless slated to shoot another movie after Inishmaan completes its run: Tokyo Vice, adapted from Jake Adelstein's 2009 memoir. "I play an American journalist who becomes very involved, shall we say, with the Yakuza — the Japanese mafia. On one hand, it's a very smart and interesting look at Americans in other countries, but it's also a great, real-life thriller."The portrait:

What is your idea of perfect happiness? Eating breakfast foods at a time of the day other than breakfast. Pancakes for dinner—I’m happy.
What is the trait you most deplore in yourself? My ability to invariably say exactly the wrong thing in any given situation.

UK and NL title change for The F Word (now titled What If)
I did post in March about the UK and NL release dates for The F Word. Those are still the same, (NL: 4th September 2014 & for the UK.: 22nd August 2014)
but I received today the news from Entertainment One Benelux that here in the Netherlands the title also changes from The F Word to What If.
That news made me also check Entertainment One UK's date via the Film Distributor's Association and noticed it's listed there too as What If. I have added the new label What If to the website now for the UK, NL and US release of the film.
UK release date for Horns
There is a UK release date released for Red Granite Pictures' Horns. According to Rentrak UK & Ireland the date is 31st October 2014. They have posted the following on Twitter:
#HORNS will see #DanielRadcliffe develop... horns, in the aftermath of his girlfriend's death. Based on #JoeHill's novel, it's out 31 Oct 14

Updated(2): Daniel Radcliffe featured in book Poems That Make Grown Men Cry
In partnership with Amnesty International, the collection also is emblematic of the human struggle to make a difference - as all poets rely on the human right to freedom of expression, but throughout history have been amongst the first targeted by repressive governments, because of their power to stir emotions and liberate ideas. It's for a special price available at the Amnesty International UK shop. but also via the publisher Simon & Schuster (UK, US)
Daniel is featured on page 169 to 171 and talks about the poem Long Distance I & II by Tony Harrison.

What brought Daniel Radcliffe to tears? Check it out: http://t.co/pX8NnpOC0L @PoemsMenCry @DanJRadcliffeNL— Simon & Schuster (@SimonBooks) 26 april 2014
Description:
But in this fascinating anthology, one hundred men - distinguished in literature and film, science and architecture, theatre and human rights - confess to being moved to tears by poems that haunt them. Representing twenty nationalities and ranging in age from their early 20s to their late 80s, the majority are public figures not prone to crying. Here they admit to breaking down when ambushed by great art, often in words as powerful as the poems themselves.
Seventy-five percent of the selected poems were written in the twentieth century, with more than a dozen by women. Their themes range from love in its many guises, through mortality and loss, to the beauty and variety of nature. Three men have suffered the pain of losing a child; others are moved to tears by the exquisite way a poet captures, in Alexander Pope's famous phrase, 'what oft was thought, but ne'er so well express'd'.
From J.J Abrams to John le Carré, Salman Rushdie to Jonathan Franzen, Daniel Radcliffe to Nick Cave, Ian McEwan to Stephen Fry, Stanley Tucci to Colin Firth, and Seamus Heaney to Christopher Hitchens, this collection delivers private insight into the souls of men whose writing, acting, and thinking are admired around the world.
Compiled by Anthony and Ben Holden. Anthony is an award-winning journalist who has published more than 30 books, including biographies of Laurence Olivier, Tchaikovsky and Shakespeare. He has published translations of opera, ancient Greek plays and poetry. His son Ben is a writer and film producer. He was director of European Film and Television at Exclusive Media, where he helped relaunch Britain's most famous film production label, Hammer. "One of the things I enjoy about Billy," says Daniel Radcliffe of his character in The Cripple of Inishmaan, "is that he’s probably the brightest person in the play, but he also has to cope with being constantly underestimated."
“Broadway is an amazing environment to work in as an actor,” Radcliffe says. “People talk about it all the time, but it’s a new experience every time, and the community aspect of it is brilliant and amazing and unexpected to me."
