Description:
Candle for Care is an annual program that Demelza House puts together
and they have adapted a similar program especially for Daniel Radcliffe.
In return for your donation for the children at Christmas, a "thought"
or "wish" written by the fan will be included in a special booklet which
is especially prepared by Demelza House. The booklet will be forwarded
to Daniel for Christmas.
Daniel also send a message to them:
As GOBLET OF FIRE has now opened, I want to thank everyone for the support I have been shown at the premieres in London, Paris and New York. It really meant a lot to me and the enthusiasm in each country was staggering!
I know as Chrismas approaches, many of you are keen to send gifts, which I really appreciate. This year, however, I want to urge you more than ever, to consider making a donation to Demelza House Children's Hospice or indeed, any charity of your choice, instead. As I am not in the UK for several months, due to other commitments, I will be unable to reply personally to any gifts that I may receive.
I hope wherever you are in the world you have a wonderful Festive season and a fantastic 2006.
Once again, thank you for the kindness and generosity that you have shown me throughout 2005.

"The best album of the year so far is Arcade Fire's Funeral. The title makes it sound like it's all doom and gloom, but it's actually not. The reason it's called Funeral is because seven members of the band's family died when they were making it. But it's just the most beautiful, sometimes sad and sometimes really uplifting album I've heard recently. Absolutely brilliant."
HBO First Look Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire: Dark Matters, New Masters aired 7th November 2005.

Daniel Radcliffe, who has played the leading role in every 'Harry Potter' film, has signed his personal Hogwarts crew T shirt - it is the one he wore during the making of the first film, 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone' and is unique to the production team.
Daniel has signed the front of this T-shirt and, as they were only issued to members of the cast and crew, this is something that money cannot buy.. Unless of course you bid on it in this auction!
Huge thanks to a dear friend, Jane Porter, who was given the T-shirt and has donated it to our catalogue here.
"I first saw Dan while he was filming a scene with Alan Rickman (Snape), but I didn't have a chance to meet him then."
"I was standing literally two feet from Daniel Radcliffe himself! Dan got up, greeted us and shook our hands, but then he had to sit back down to have his make-up done. We talked for about twenty minutes straight about everything from school, to music, to sports! Once Dan's make-up was finished we all walked back to the set where he was filming with Alan Rickman, and they did the scene again. Between takes Dan would come over and talk with us."
